FORREST FRANK and Noah Hayden have officially launched their new collaboration, PARTY WAVE, with Dawn Patrol as their debut album, following an unexpected trademark dispute with their former band name. To involve their fans in the rebrand, the duo invited submissions for the new name via social media, offering $10,000 to the winner. The initial winner — the family behind the popular @thebucketlistfamily Instagram account — asked that the money be passed on to the runner-up, a couple expecting their first child and moving into their first home. When contacted, the parents-to-be instead requested the donation go to A Father’s Heart, a nonprofit supporting children affected by human trafficking. The heartwarming FaceTime exchange between the artists and the couple can be viewed here. Inspired by this pay-it-forward chain, fans contributed an additional $90,000 (and counting) in donations to help build a children’s center in Guatemala — a direct answer to prayer for the organization’s founder, Orbis Nieves.

Engaging their collective audience during this unforeseen challenge, FRANK and Hayden generated more than 5 million impressions across Instagram and TikTok as they enlisted their fans, eager to come to their aid. The hurdle also saw the deletion of their Instagram page, forcing the close friends and avid surfers to start a new account with the handle @partywaveeee, which quickly amassed more than 100,000 followers. They recap the incredible turn of events here, a story that mirrors the ethos of community reflected in their new name.

Although FRANK and Hayden’s duo will go by PARTY WAVE moving forward, the title of their collaborative effort remains DAWN PATROL. Blending lyrics rooted in a shared faith with a more laid-back, sun-soaked sonic palette, DAWN PATROL marks a creative shift — one inspired by early mornings in the water, deep conversations, prayer and a desire to make something honest and unfiltered. Following the drop of lead single “SOS,” the act debuted fresh track “WASTE SOME TIME” across all DSPs last week. The 16-song DAWN PATROL officially releases today, Apr. 8, FRANK’S 31st birthday.

The new project arrives amid a breakout year already packed with historic milestones for FRANK. Earlier this month, he returned home to Texas to headline the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, performing for more than 70,000 fans at NRG Stadium, marking a full-circle moment for the Houston-area native. The performance, covered by an on-site one-on-one interview with FOX & Friends, capped a massive weekend that also included a sold-out appearance at the Florida Strawberry Festival, further underscoring the explosive demand for the artist.

Those moments serve as a prelude to what is shaping up to be one of the most significant tours in Christian music history. This summer, FRANK will embark on The Jesus Generation Tour — his largest headline run to date — already surpassing 500,000 tickets sold across arenas and amphitheaters nationwide.

With billions of global streams and a rapidly expanding fanbase, Frank continues to redefine the boundaries of modern Christian music. His 2025 album, CHILD OF GOD II, debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 and went on to make history with the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The project’s breakout single, “YOUR WAY’S BETTER,” earned RIAA Gold certification, became the No. 1 Hot Christian Song of 2025, crossed onto the Billboard Hot 100, and emerged as one of the most searched songs via Google’s “hum-to-search” feature.

The momentum carried into awards season, where FRANK took home multiple GMA Dove Awards — including Artist of the Year — and received two Grammy® nominations for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.

Now, with DAWN PATROL, FRANK and Hayden open a new chapter — one that feels both deeply personal and refreshingly unpolished, capturing the spirit of friendship, faith and the unbridled sensation of riding a party wave.

As a lifelong fan, there’s something powerful about sitting across from Point of Grace in this season of their lives. Not because they’re trying to prove anything. • Third Day Tour Review: ALL HITS, NO MISSES

I’m typically protective of what would be considered spoiler territory, but given that Third Day has advertised this tour as “all the hits,” there’s really not much to spoil from a setlist perspective. Fair warning Stryper fans, this is a different kind of record, but not a full a departure either. More like a long-awaited Read More
